The Pennypacker Swim & Dive Team provides a great opportunity for fun, competition, sroke technique improvement, and most importantly, making new friends. The team has something to offer at all levels – from the pre-team, which focuses on stroke development, to the Junior Varsity, Varsity, and Dive teams, which enable all children to compete against children of similar levels from area clubs. Pennypacker participates in the Suburban Swim League (SSL), which is comprised of teams from Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery Counties. Our summer includes a full schedule of dual meets for swimmers and divers, as well as many fun events for the whole family to enjoy. The season concludes with our own Club Championships, as well as league championships in late July for both swimming and diving.
All swim team members (regular and pre-team) must be at least 6 years old by June 1 and able to swim a full length of the pool. Coaches will assess swimmers to determine qualifications for the team or recommend swimming lessons when appropriate.
All dive team members must be 7 years old by June 1.
Please note that SSL rules state that swimmers and divers may not compete in any other dual meet leagues at the same time (e.g. YMCA or Country Club).
